Matthew works with many Independent designers helping them build their brand identity through image styling and presentation. Often a shoot will incorporate both advertising style shots along with a set of ‘lifestyle’ images – either made in the studio or in-situ in a suitable location.

Gallery Installation

Installation photography for Artists and Galleries that highlights both the artwork and curation of the space.

Art

High Quality Art and Sculpture photography for catalogues or print reproduction where colour control and detail are of paramount importance. Matthew’s Studio Flash units are UV filtered so as to leave artwork undamaged by the high intensity lighting.

Interior and Location

Images to highlight Interior Design or Products on location. Here Matthew will usually bring studio flash equipment in order to augment natural light if required. He can work on both styling and composition of the images, in-conjunction with you or alongside a recommended stylist.

Antiques

In this context Matthew will often travel with his studio flash equipment and backdrops to set up and photograph objects where moving them is potentially damaging or extremely costly. UV filtered lights, care and handling of items as well as producing images that enhance the natural features and beauty in the objects.

Architecture

Matthew works with perspective correction lenses to photograph Architectural Exteriors and Interiors. Following the form and functionality of spaces as well as using light and composition as a medium to make images of a powerful and compelling quality.

Matthew has a expert working knowledge of studio product lighting and a great degree of control over the finished image. He is constantly striving to produce the highest quality of photography as well as service.  He can happily work with difficult subjects such as Glass, Mirrors, reflections,  White objects on White backgrounds or combinations of objects that react to light in very different ways.  Producing images of impeccable quality and attention to detail combined with a friendly, calm and professional service.
